   Biography:
   Ms. Sandra Fernandez-Bergersen has 12 years of educational experience in public education. She has    served as an English as second Language Teacher, She has worked as a teacher, administrator and    coordinator in K-12 in Kansas.  During this time, she has always focussed on not only the professional    development of her students but also the development of the student's character which she believes to be    very important for any individual.   She has always looked towards expanding her knowledge and    enriching her skills set with the aim that she could use these to encourage and enhance the potential of her    students. Ms Fernandez always believes that a planned, collaborative and methododical approach is the best    way to overcome any challenge. Her areas of expertise include working with the student and parent groups,    faculty, staff and other community members to work towards providing educational opportunities for all    irrespective of their background or status.
