BEST PRACTICES
SUMMIT 2009
STRATEGIES TO PROMOTE
STUDENT SUCCESS

June 1—2, 2009 Conference

The fourth Best Practices Summit will be held June 1—2, 2009 at the Omaha Regency Marriot Hotel. Mark you calendar and plan to have your school, school district, and community represented at this summit on best practices. We suggest that schools be represented by a team to include the principal, teachers, parents, and business or community representatives, though, individual participants are welcome. Superintendents and other district office staff are also encouraged to attend to facilitate district-wide efforts to improve student achievement.

The 2009 summit will emphasize:

• preparing globally competitive students;
• supporting 21st century professionals to create a culture of continuous improvement;
• improving academic growth for high performing students;
• developing healthy and responsible citizens;
• providing ways to assist all subgroups to be academically successful.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2009 summit.
